Divorce Rates around the world

We have found some information around the Internet about the Divorce rates around the world. We have no idea if this is accurate information but we provide it for your edification. Do with it what you may. But note the relatively non-existent divorce rate in places like India and Sri Lanka. Some suggest that the reason these countries have relatively no divorces is because of the clearly defined gender roles and the fact that women put up with abuse because of cultural norms and expectations. Maybe. Maybe not. We are surprised Iceland doesn’t have a higher rate since it is a relatively “pagan” country and has no hang ups about marriage and divorce like people who live in more “religious” societies.
