I almost can’t get over the fact that in New York adultery is actually a CRIME. A spouse can be incarcerated if caught cheating on the other! How do you like them apples? I find it particularly interesting, because in other states, like Nevada, I don’t even think that adultery is one of the grounds for divorce. Actually, New York is the only “fault” state left. All other states are “no fault” even though they offer more than just the requisite “irreconcilable differences” as a basis to end a marriage. But some, well, more like one that I know of, NEVADA, don’t even acknowledge adultery as a ground for divorce. Yet, New York criminalizes it. Just thought I’d share that with ya.
