Like father like son? There are reports circulating that Tiger Woods’ father Earl Woods was also a cheater and that he cheated on Tiger’s mom and also on his first wife. Tiger’s ex girlfriend Dina Parr allegedly told E News that Tiger was “devastated” by his father’s cheating:
“He loved his father,” Parr tells E! News in the exclusive interview. “And I know that was the one thing about his dad that he could never get over. So yeah, it’s interesting that it’s turned out that he’s doing the same thing.”
That is no excuse, though and Tiger should own up to what he did, admit his mistakes and try to make amends. Even if his marriage is over, he should man up and take full responsibility. He is not his father. He makes his own choices and when he messes up, he has to put the blame squarely on himself. It’s the only way to learn and to do better next time. Admit his weaknesses and failures and work on himself without putting blame on anyone else. Least of all, his dead dad.
Ok. But is Tiger the only one to blame? Or does Elin share some of the responsibility for their failed marriage? The divorce rate in Sweden is ridiculous and there are a lot of theories as to why. For one thing, are Swedish people as a whole, just not that good at marriage?
