There is some speculation that perhaps Eva Longoria and Tony Parker got married for all the wrong reasons.
One is, to further her fame; another is to compete with other celebs who had had high profile weddings (it is rumored that Eva wanted to keep up with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ wedding) and another is to get married just for the sake of it – which suggests that any man would have done (Tony just happened to be there). That is evidenced, according to some, by the “over-the-top wedding she had in Paris. Here’s Popeater on the issue:
…the too-good-to-be-true wedding, where fireworks lit up the sky at Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, a 17th Century castle on the outskirts of Paris. I remember scouring through hundreds of images desperately trying to find a picture of the couple looking happy on their big day. It was much harder than it should have been.
“Tony spent most of the day listening to music on his iPod when not being pushed into pictures, while Eva spent the entire evening hanging with her friends and dancing,” a wedding guest tells me. “Tony seemed confused by the circus Eva had assembled.
A couple of years back we did a post about Star Jones and we pondered wether over the top weddings are a precursor to divorce. Are the proverbial “bridezillas” doomed for marriage failure? And was Eva really bridezilla? Or was she just unlucky in love?
