BOOK: Spousonomics: How Economics can help you figure out your marriage, by Jenny Andersen and Paula Szuchman

We’re a little late getting to the party, but I was listening to NPR this morning and they had the authors of this new book about marriage on. The book is called Spousonomics by Jenny Anderson and Paula Szuchman and it basically says the secret to a happy marriage (and avoiding divorce, ostensibly) is to treat marriage like a business and use economic theory to master the art of it. So, for like issues involving sex? They say, “make it affordable.” The use a lot of bar graphs and pie charts to make their point, and they are getting a lot of press. I just read something about it on Daily Beast as well. You can pick up your own copy on Amazon.
