Billionaire hedge fund manager David Tepper and wife Marlene Tepper to divorce

According to NY Post Page Six, another billionaire marriage has gone up in smoke. The victims are David Tepper and his wife of 30 years, Marlene Tepper. The Teppers have 3 grown children in their 20s so this is not going to be a battle about custody and child support. But they do have a lot of assets, understandably, since he is ranked 129th on the Forbes List of Billionaires. One house in Sagaponack, Long Island (the Hamptons) which the former Goldman Sachs trader bought from the wife of his former boss Jon Corzine is valued at over $43 million dollars! According to Page Six:

The split could prove extremely costly. Tepper, a minority owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers, has an estimated net worth of $10 billion.
He is one of the most successful and respected managers in the hedge fund world, and after making a 2009 trade that netted his company $7.5 billion and himself a payday of nearly $4 billion, Tepper was quoted in New York Magazine as saying: “What do you think I should do with it? . . . I could buy an island. I could buy a private jet . . . I could get myself a 22-year-old!”

It is unclear if the divorce filing (technically this apparently has not yet happened officially) has anything to do with a 22 year old hottie or whether the marriage has truly run its course as friends evidently have said.
