Recently divorced and have the kids for the weekend? Need to figure out a fun breakfast? How about Kourtney Kardashian’s Gluten Free Waffles?
So, my favorite Kardashian is Kourtney. First of all, she loves gray and it is my favorite color. But even more important than that is that in between all the madness and chaos that in the view of many epitomizes the Kardashians and their lifestyle brand, in my opinion Kourtney Kardashian seems to be very mature, down to earth and normal and also, a very good mother. And as an added bonus she doesn’t do as many nudie shots as the others (and this can get tiring very quickly when you are me).
This is just the impression I get from Kourtney. I could be wrong but she seems like someone who is really hands on and puts her children first. I was just on her website and found this recipe for gluten free waffles and I thought, wow, this is a good recipe for single moms and dads (even if they are not divorced) to make a weekend treat for their kids.
She has a link to the recipe on her twitter page but it looks like readers would have to pay a monthly membership fee to actually access the recipe. Not sure about that but there are lovely pictures of the waffles and she displayed all the ingredients and so even if you don’t want to sign up as a member of her site you can probably figure out how to make the waffles.
I just think that after a divorce especially, but even without that as a prerequisite, kids do enjoy a fun weekend. And so I thought I would add this to our DIVORCE FOOD section (our editor, Lawyer X, freshly back from Paris has decided that she wants a whole separate section for food because she is very OCD and she is basically driving every body over here crazy with all her new ideas for Divorce Saloon. Now she tells me that she wants me to follow people like Kourtney and get ideas for food. Which is fine. Because as I said, I like Kourt.)
So I recommend her gluten free waffles for kids. 🙂
