Melania Trump Parenting v Kelly Roland: Which of These Mothers Has the Best Parenting Tips?

Parenting Tips From Celebs Melania Trump and Kelly Roland

Redbook Magazine just did an exposé on Melania Trump’s parenting skills and People Magazine just did an exposé on former Destiny’s Child crooner Kelly Roland’s new book, Whoa Baby! Both the book and the magazine article aim to showcase each woman’s prowess at mothering and provide readers with much needed parenting tips.

Whose parenting tips do you find most useful? Kelly or Melania? This may actually be an unfair question but, really which would you rather? Ice cream or cake?

Well, interestingly (just so that I keep this in the context of divorce) neither of these women have ever been divorced so they shouldn’t even be on this divorce blog. But we are also all about PARENTING and so it fits if you really think about it. Besides, Melania is married to Donald Trump who has been divorced twice so that is a divorce angle. Not sure about Kelly’s husband Tim Weatherspoon. Has he ever been divorced? But they both have great parenting tips for moms and other women. These responses were gleaned from their respective interviews and I linked to the interviews below:

Kelly Roland: “All that gnawing at your nipples will take its toll! In those early days, I was fascinated (my polite way of saying ‘horrified’) by the transformation of the boobs.”

Melania Trump: “I am a full-time mom; that is my first job. The most important job ever.”

Kelly Roland: “My nipples were HUGE — we are talking the size of Frisbees — and sometimes I could see these veins bulging out while I was nursing. My boobs themselves were so long and stretchy that I sometimes felt like I could’ve swung them over my shoulders.”

Melania Trump: “I  think is important to give a child room to make mistakes in order to learn. Mistakes build wings so later in life they can fly and go on their own. Let them fall once in a while. When they do, they will learn how to pick themselves up on their own when you aren’t around”

Kelly Roland: “Even with the silicon action, it was like some of the air had been sucked out and they just sort of hung there like flapjacks.”

Melania Trump: “One day he was playing bakery and he wrote Barron’s Bakery on the wall with crayons. He is very creative, if you say to a child no, no, no, where does the creativity go.”

Kelly Roland: “I could hardly sit down on a wood chair without letting out a shriek of pain … Had giving birth actually ruined my vaj for life.”

OK. I should stop there. I think you have enough to draw your own conclusions. If you want, read the interviews yourself (sorry no public domain images of Kelly were available.)
