Do you feel as if your marriage is being wrecked by some weird force that has taken over your spouse? Or have you become the spouse from hell and you don’t know what the heck is wrong with you? Better yet, is your wife or husband looking at you as if they don’t even know who you are and they don’t even  want to spend time with you. Is your sex drive caput? Are you too tired to get it on? Are you gaining a lot of weight for no reason (which is having an adverse effect on your sex drive and sex appeal?) This can all probably be cured! It is probably nothing more than a Vitamin D deficiency! A lot of people – both men and women but mostly women – get this. It happens more in temperate and cold climates but it can actually happen anywhere. And to anyone.
All races are prone to this but it can affect some races other than others. If you avoid diary, sun and meat (that is, you are a healthy vegan) you could be more prone to vitamin D deficiency than someone who eats that stuff regularly. If you use sun screen and avoid the direct sunlight on your skin, you could be vitamin D deficient. Dark skin tones have more melanin which acts as a natural sun bloc – they say – so unless you are taking in extra vitamin D in supplements or taking in huge amounts of diary and salmon and yogurt and stuff like that, you could be vitamin D deficient. If you live in cold climates that don’t get a lot of sun with UV sunlight you could be vitamin D deficient.

This is not a cute deficiency because it can make you feel like hell. And when you feel like hell the first person you tend to turn on is your husband or wife. You are miserable and unhappy so they are going to be miserable and unhappy too. Depending on your age, this deficiency could work in tandem with other hormonal imbalances to completely destroy your marriage. Next thing you know you are sitting there  thinking “my marriage is being wrecked and I don’t know why!” Meanwhile, all the while, it is you that needs more sun.

You should see a doctor and get a full check up if you have these symptoms:

  1. Fatigue that leads to low or zero sex drive
  2. Depression, sadness and blueness for no reason.
  3. Inappropriate and profuse amount of sweating at inappropriate times.
  4. Weight gain for no reason.
  5. Mood swings & irritability
  6. Irritable bowel syndrome (gurgling, farting and rumbling stomach)
  7. Bad Breath (bleeding gums and other oral hygiene issues)
  8. Sensitivity to pain
  9. Twitching & itching muscles
  10. Bone weakness

This is not just a matter of saving your marriage, by the way. This could save your life because left unchecked, a vitamin D deficiency can lead to all sorts of health ailments including heart attack, thyroid issues, as well as insulin and kidney issues. A doctor’s visit is in order also because a vitamin D deficiency could mean a more serious underlying medical problem such as cancer.

What should you eat if you have a Vitamin D deficiency that is wrecking your marriage?

  • A raw egg daily
  • Salmon
  • Tuna Fish
  • Meat
  • Milk
  • Ice cream
  • Yogurt
  • Broccoli
  • Cheese
  • Butter
  • Fortified Fruit juices

You should also  try to up your daily exposure to direct sunlight and you probably are going to need to take supplements for a few months or a year or so to get back to normal depending on how bad it is. But first, do not self diagnose this. Go speak to your doctor and get a proper diagnosis. Your life and your marriage could depend on it.
