On Elon Musk Rolling Stones Interview
We are obsessed with Elon Musk on this blog as you know if you have been reading. I just read his latest interview with Rolling Stones. I almost could not believe that whereas we have been goofing off and saying that he is looking for a girlfriend, that in fact, Elon Musk is actually looking for a girlfriend! It was uncanny! So I got so intrigued, I thought I would dissect the interview for this blog. Read what he told the Rolling Stones interviewer in part:
“Is there anybody you think I should date? It’s so hard for me to even meet people.” He swallows and clarifies, stammering softly, “I’m looking for a long-term relationship. I’m not looking for a one-night stand. I’m looking for a serious companion or soulmate, that kind of thing.”
Is this not uncanny? The guy seriously is looking for a girlfriend! But wait. It sounds like he could be back with ex wife Tallulah? They really seem to have a thing for each other, him and Tallulah. They have been married and divorced twice and each time, her alimony just goes through the roof. He is codependent with Tallulah, I think. But she can live without him. She does humor him, though. She soothes his pain. She helps him with his abandonment issues. Elon is afraid of being abandoned and of being alone. In his Rolling Stones interview he said:
“I will never be happy without having someone. Going to sleep alone kills me.” He hesitates, shakes his head, falters, continues. “It’s not like I don’t know what that feels like: Being in a big empty house, and the footsteps echoing through the hallway, no one there – and no one on the pillow next to you. Fuck. How do you make yourself happy in a situation like that?”
The thing is, while Tallulah probably fully exploits her hold over him, it is not her fault he is alone right now. Elon is very complicated and he has had a very complicated childhood and a very bizarre relationship with his father based on the things he said in the Rolling Stones interview. Indeed, Elon Musk’s Rolling Stones interview was very revealing. He clearly has a fear of being alone. But he also seems to be too busy for a girlfriend. He just doesn’t stop. He is very driven in his work which is not so great when you have a wife at home who wants some alone time with her husband. He just does not seem to have a lot of free time. But he does seem to crave a long term relationship more than anything. He also said in the interview:
“If I’m not in love, if I’m not with a long-term companion, I cannot be happy.”
Two things that are clear in Elon Musk Rolling Stones interview is that he, first of all, knows that he does not have all the “fucking answers” – which is very, very, very important. And second of all, he has a wicked sense of humor. He talks about almost blowing off his fingers and creating explosives; the next minute he is choking on popcorn and laughing hysterically while talking about climate change. Then he warns about tweeting while on Ambien (is this a sleep drug? Stop it, Elon!) and at that point, I realized the man is hilarious and that he is also completely insane. In a funny way. But in a real way. Mr. Musk is completely insane.
Can a normal woman sustain a relationship with him for long? He says it is what he wants. He wants a long term relationship. Can a normal girl handle this?
Hmm…it would be a challenge…But it might be something to remember for a lifetime…
Hey Elon. If you read this. Are you going to be in the Paris area anytime soon? Maybe we can do lunch at the Westin across from the Louvre…or someplace… contact me.
